Ever since this whole “lockdown” started, and I say lockdown with quotation marks because in Australia for the most part things are starting to lift and return to a new normal. But like most countries we went through a period of pretty strong lock down when the only time I’d ever leave the house was to purchase groceries (remember when Coles and Woolies Online just buckled under all the traffic that you couldn’t even order groceries online?) and it was around that period that I really started to re-discover my love for planning in my journals again.
And ever since I’ve been filming weekly Plan With Me videos in my Erin Condren Life Planner, that’s not to say I will continue to do such videos on a weekly basis, but for now I’m going with what feels right and what I enjoy. Admittedly, that realisation took me a little while to come to terms with because there was a good while that I was very focused on what I thought people wanted to see. And unfortunately my Plan with me videos and Bullet Journal videos don’t perform well on my channel, especially in comparison to hauls or unboxings. Yet despite that I’ve decided to continue on because I’m really trying to shift my mentality to be more around what do I enjoy, what motivates me, what am I passionate about. And if people follow my journey, awesome! If not, awesome!
The other thing I’ve really enjoyed doing is going through my entire sticker collection and trying to use as much of it as possible. And so in that process I dug up a really old kit from Two Lil Bees. She was probably one of the first etsy stores I ever discovered and I just loved her very soft and ethereal aesthetic! Since then I think her store went through a couple of transformations and I’m very keen to try out her store again once I’ve used up all my kits π
